Abstract In the paper, specification of a new neutronics benchmark for large sodium cooled fast reactor (SFR) core and results modeling by different participants are presented. The describes French Superphénix at its startup configuration, which in particular was used experimental measurement reactivity characteristics. consists detailed heterogeneous neutronic analysis reference solution. Different geometries thermal conditions from cold “as fabricated” up to full power were considered.
